The residential neighborhoods of Tel Rifat, Deir Jamal and Tal Qarah were attacked by Ankara’s regulars and extremist groups operating under their orders, activists quoted by the official SANA news agency reported.

These actions caused material losses to homes and civilian properties, they specified.

On the other hand, a Turkish drone attacked with guided missiles two vehicles of the militia Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by Washington and considered as terrorists by Ankara.

The attack took place in the locality of Khan Jabal in the municipality of Malkieh in the northeast of Hasakeh and resulted in the death of three members of the aforementioned formation.

Turkish uniformed forces recently escalated their bombardment of northern Syria amid repeated declarations by President Recep Tayeb Erdogan to launch an offensive aimed at controlling a 30-kilometer-deep border strip in the country’s territory.

Since 2018, the Eurasian nation’s military and illegal armed groupings managed through three operations named Olive Branch, Fountain of Peace and Euphrates Shield to control extensive areas in the Syrian provinces of Idlib, Aleppo, Raqa and Hasakeh.
