Tanzania, Cuba assess potentials to expand trade

Dar es Salaam, Jun 30 (Prensa Latina) Tanzania and Cuba on Thursday assessed the potentials to expand their economic and trade relations during the visit of Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.

The existing opportunities in areas of common interest on the basis of mutually beneficial interests were defended by Rodriguez and Tanzania’s Minister of Industries, Investment and Trade Ashatu Kijaji during a meeting on Thursday.

The Cuban foreign minister arrived in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.

After his arrival, he spoke with his counterpart, Liberata Mulamula about the common interest to continue strengthening the high-level political dialogue.

We discussed the potentials to expand areas of cooperation in the spheres of health, agriculture and human resources training, Rodriguez tweeted.

The Cuban minister has already visited Equatorial Guinea, Uganda and Ethiopia as part of his African tour.
