Interest in meeting on business tourism in Cuba increases

Havana, Jul 4 (Prensa Latina) The registration of over 100 buyers in three weeks shows there is more interest in holding in Cuba of MITM Americas meeting of business tourism, organizers said on Monday.

A statement by GSAR Marketing-MITM Events (Spain) disseminated on Monday in Havana details this venue has become really attractive for the meeting, which will be held in the Varadero resort, some 140 km east of the capital.

According to this press release, a hundred experts from 30 countries were registered in that short period of time, including directors of corporate enterprises, incentive agencies, international agencies, planners and congress organizers, among others.

The 24th edition of MITM Americas, Meetings & Incentive Travel Market, the oldest MICE B2B fair of the Americas and the Caribbean, will returm to Cuba one more time, they stressed.

This type of MICE B2B meeting means short contacts with experts on this subject to facilitate more business possibilities regarding meetings and venues.

The meeting will be held at the Hotel Meliá Varadero, first MICE hotel in Cuba, with a privileged situation and magnificent facilities for events, the Spanish chain noted.

MITM Americas is supported and sponsored by Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), the Meliá hotels and Cubatur.
