The idea is that Babel will manage the protection of the entire IT infrastructure of the Chamber for the next three years, a step that comes after the recent scandals of spying on Spanish politicians with the Pegasus system (of Israeli origin).

The company Babel itself announced in a statement that the contract actually came into force on July 1 and provides for its possible extension to 2023.
