Rusia, Ucrania, conflicto
Moscow, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the aviation destroyed a training center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Ochakov.

The spokesman for the military entity, Major General Igor Konashenkov, reported to the press that the aviation also destroyed a foreign mercenary camp in Posad-Pokrovskoye, in the region of Kherson, in addition to other objectives.

“The high-precision weapons of the Russian Air Force destroyed overnight six command posts, including that of the 107th battalion of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Reserve Command near Barmashev and two territorial defense battalions (…) in addition to enemy infantry and war matériel in 14 zones,” the officer reported.

Konashenkov added that three ammo dumps housing weapons and ammunition near the settlements of Artyomovsk, Seversk and Zvanovka, in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), were razed using high-precision weapons.

He also added that the Russian air defense shot down 17 Ukrainian drones in the last 24 hours and intercepted six Tochka-U ballistic missiles in the Nikolayev, Kharkov and Kherson regions. Twelve multiple rocket launcher projectiles were also intercepted near 10 towns.

Konashenkov also reported that the Russian aviation eliminated up to 350 Ukrainian troops and 20 armored vehicles from two mechanized assault brigades and one mountain brigade of Ukraine’s forces in the Artiomovsk province, in Donetsk.

Amid all this, servicemen of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of Ukraine refuse to participate in combat and defect en masse to the rear.

Also according to the report, Ukrainian troops tried to raise their flag on Snake Island, but a Russian warplane launched an airstrike and eliminated part of the force that had disembarked; the survivors fled in the direction of the village of Primorskoye in the Odessa region.
