Ukrainian strikes kill six civilians in Donetsk

Moscow, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The artillery strikes launched by Ukraine against the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in the last 24 hours caused six deaths and 24 injuries, regional authorities reported.

The latest update published by DPR spokespersons at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime confirms the death of a woman after an artillery strike against the Petrovsky district, Donetsk, using four 152 millimeter projectiles.

The leaders also detailed that five other people, including a teenager, were injured when the Ukrainian forces fired six 155-millimeter projectiles, used in US-supplied artillery, against the Kirovski district.

Two 220mm rockets launched from an Uragan multiple launch system of the Ukrainian forces against the city of Makeevka, in the Donetsk region, claimed the lives of three minors and a man.

Another five children, two adolescents and three women suffered injuries of varying severity.

DPR leaders also specified that in the city of Yasinovataya a man lost his life and a woman was injured after the Ukrainian military fired four 122-millimeter artillery shells.

The Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime specified that the Ukrainian forces fired a total of 235 projectiles of different types and calibers against cities and towns in the republic, damaging a school and numerous residential buildings.
