The entity pointed out that a new maximum number of confirmed cases was reached, with 36,334, and 92 deaths were added. The registry accumulates 6,301,645 people who have had the disease and 326,189 who have died.
The daily technical report showed hospitals remain with an occupancy rate of 15 percent in general beds and 5 percent in those with ventilators, when two weeks ago they were at very lower figures.
On the other hand, the number of people who started with symptoms of the infection in the past 14 days is 215,794, the report adds.
The Secretariat detailed that the states with the highest number of infections are Mexico City, Mexico State, Nuevo Leon, Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosi, Tabasco, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora, which together make up 65 percent of all the accumulated cases registered in the country.
The vaccination of children from 9 years of age onwards has already begun after the vaccination of children from 11 to 12 years old has been completed, reported the entity.
