The agreements included the appointment of a new leading board at the historic Padre Billini hospital, which is scheduled to open on August 4, in this case from the community and not from people who, according to the president of the CMD, Senén Caba, “have the aim of appropriating the resources destined to these public centers”.

They also agreed that the Luis Eduardo Aybar hospital of this city will open its doors gradually and in relation to the Salvador B. Gautier health care center, both parties will start to repair and improve services as of next Monday.

They also decided that in the next 15 days they will publish a thousand medical positions throughout the country in order to reduce the deficit of doctors, specialists and general practitioners, who will be appointed through competitive examinations.

And they will suspend cancellations and transfers that are not justified.

On the subject of retirees and pensioners, a meeting is pending for next Wednesday in which they will address the issue.
