He explained that the FGR must decide if the former president (2012-2018) can come to defend himself here, but the same could also happen with former President Felipe Calderon (2006-2012), otherwise we would have already filed it, or against Vicente Fox (2000-2006) or Ernesto Zedillo (1994-2000).

López Obrador dice fiscalía de México decide caso Peña Nieto
Lead : Ciudad de México, 3 ago (Prensa Latina) El proceso judicial anunciado por la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) al expresidente Enrique Peña Nieto es su decisión y los procesos les corresponden, aclaró hoy el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Cuerpo : Preguntado al respecto en su conferencia de prensa matutina en el Palacio Nacional, el mandatario señaló “que los procesos existen, tienen su curso y no podemos decir al fiscal que no actúe, ni abra una carpeta de investigación, ni presente nada, y eso es distinto a que nosotros hagamos la denuncia”. Explicó que la FGR debe decidir si el exmandatario (2012-2018) puede venir a defenderse aquí, pero eso mismo podría suceder también con el expresidente Felipe Calderón (2006-2012), si no ya la hubiéramos presentando, o contra Vicente Fox (2000-2006) o Ernesto Zedillo (1994-2000).
La FGR, recordó, fue la que dio la información porque alguien aquí en este salón (la rueda de prensa) hizo la pregunta y son ellos los que llevan esos casos.
Aquí, expresó, solamente aclarar que la dio a conocer la FGR, que emitió el comunicado donde hablan que estudian, analizan y ejecutan los procedimientos de investigación en diversas carpetas por delitos federales debido a denuncias que involucran a la empresa española OHL e incluye asuntos electorales y patrimoniales, lo cual permitirá esclarecerlos.
Citó la información de la fiscalía, en la cual expresa que la carpeta se abrió en base a denuncias hacendarias, lavado de dinero y transferencia internacionales ilegales, y que están obteniendo diversas pruebas para la judicialización del caso.
Aclaró que son tres carpetas de investigación que incluyen el enriquecimiento ilícito la cual se desahoga por las instancias fiscales y los demás factores correspondientes, y aseguró que mientras se vayan teniendo resultados judiciales se irán dando a conocer.
