The maximum representative of the Opposition Coalition, Déthie Fall, noted that if the request is granted, the institution could present photocopies of illegal acts detected in several areas, including Matam, Raneou, Kanel and Podor.

According to electoral authorities, the provisional results of these elections should be made public on late Thursday or Friday.

On the other hand, Fall blamed the pro-government Benno Book Yaakar coalition for stuffing ballot boxes with ballots in northern Senegal to favor the ruling party.

In response to criticisms of the electoral process, Senegalese President Macky Sall recently defended that these elections, in which international observers were present, took place in an atmosphere of calm and transparency, and are therefore credible.
