This was confirmed to Prensa Latina by Carlos Roberto Rodriguez, Cubanacan’s representative here, where 1,798 rooms are currently marketed in the renowned Guardalavaca beach resort and the cities of Holguin and Gibara.
Precisely, Holguin was one of the five territories, together with Havana, Varadero, Camagüey and Santiago de Cuba, where the first delegations of that hotel group, now present in the main poles of the Cuban archipelago through five specialized brands, were established.
In Guardalavaca, the five-star Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Hotel has the highest occupancy of foreign guests, while Brisas Guardalavaca and Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca are gradually reactivating the international operations that distinguish these flagship facilities in eastern Cuba.
The executive made special reference to the four hotels in Gibara, the Ordoño, Plaza Colon, Bahia del Almirante and the Arsenita, which are currently hosting the International Film Festival, which is being held in the Villa Blanca de los Cangrejos.
About that destination, Rodriguez praised its natural, historical, cultural and nautical attributes, and expressed his intentions to reestablish the circuits that connect it with other points of this region of the country.
According to its Facebook profile, the Cubanacan group, founded in 1987, is one of the most renowned Cuban tourism companies with an outstanding position in the international market, with the commercial brands Brisas, Club Amigo, Horizontes, Hoteles E and Cubanacan Hoteles.
