After thorough air reconnaissance and surveillance operations, fighter-bombers destroyed well-prepared, fortified and equipped hideouts of this group in the eastern montain range of Qurayteen town in the eastern desert of the central Homs province, the national TV reported.

It added that the members of this group were trained by US special forces deployed in the illegal base of al-Tanef.

According to confirmed data and complaints, US soldiers in al-Tanef provide logistical support, protection and intelligence to terrorists to attack the Syrian army and its allies and the civilian communities in this large desert.

For their part, operation officers revealed that Daesh cells and other radical groups are especially activated in the southern and eastern parts of Deir Ezzor and Homs provinces, as these territories are geograhically connected to al-Tanef, where terrorists take refuge after perpetrating their attacks.
