Panamanian FM expresses solidarity with Cuba in face of Matanzas fire

Panama City, Aug 8 (Prensa Latina) Panamanian Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes expressed her solidarity with Cuba following an oil storage tank fire in the city of Matanzas, according to an official message. On Twitter, Mouynes said her solidarity message was conveyed on Sunday to her Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodríguez as he was present at new Colombian President Gustavo Petro´s inauguration.

The General Coordinator of People´s Party Moisés Casrrasquilla pointed out Cubans always get back on their feet in face of these incidents, because their main strength lays in people´s nature and quality, their socialist revolution, their Party Communist and in its leaders.

In reciprocity, the Panamanian party assured that Cuba will receive solidarity of all the peoples around the world and also expressed its willingness to collaborate as much as possible.

The General-Secretary of the Single Union of Workers in the Construction and Related Industries Saúl Méndez, on the other hand, availed himself of the opportunity to send solidarity and heartfelt hug to the Cuban people he put them down as worthy and an example to follow in their confrontation with setbacks.
