In videos released by the organization through social networks, two men dressed in orange uniforms can be seen beating with a big hammer the metal sheets on the roof of the Good Packing company, in the English town of Tamworth.
Protesters, two of whom were arrested by police, also smashed windows and CCTV cameras, and threw red paint on the walls. There is no impunity for Israel or anyone involved in the massacres we have seen, said a spokesperson for Palestine Action, which has been campaigning since 2020 against all Israeli companies manufacturing weapons in the UK and their business partners.
According to the activists, the Good Packing company is engaged in packing, transporting and exporting military drones manufactured by Elbit System, the largest Israeli arms manufacturer, at a nearby facility.
Palestine Action also accuses Elbit System of using Gaza and other Palestinian territories occupied by Israel to test the weaponry it produces before selling it on the international market. As a result of the ongoing protests, the Israeli arms manufacturer closed its London headquarters, and at least one of its UK factories, weeks ago.
