More people in Cuba get Covid-19 booster dose

Havana, Aug 9 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported on Tuesday that 7,504,335 people have received a booster dose against Covid-19.

According to MINSAP, 9,980,251 Cubans, who represent 90.1 percent of the population, have already completed the vaccination scheme.

So far, 10,686,661 citizens have received a dose of homegrown vaccines, 9,421,439 have already been administered the second dose, and 9,123,158 have received the third dose.

Therefore, Cuba has administered 39,696,748 doses of the Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala homegrown vaccines.

According to the National Office of Statistics and Information, Cuba’s population in late 2020 was about 11.18 million inhabitants.
