The conviction was expressed in a message sent by the president of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Nguyen Phuong Nga, and the head of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association and of the Foreign Relations Commission of the National Assembly, Vu Hai Ha.

The text, addressed to the presidents of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Fernando Gonzalez, and the Cuba-Vietnam Friendship Association, Yolanda Ferrer Gomez, stresses that the Vietnamese people will always stand shoulder to shoulder, united with Cubans in the difficulties they are going through.

On the other hand, members of the Vietnamese Former Students Club in Cuba visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Hanoi and shared with the head of the diplomatic mission, Orlando Hernandez Guillen, about the damages caused by the devastating fire and the obstacles faced by the Cuban people.

The Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association and the Alumni Club expressed their willingness to carry out practical activities “to support and help the Cuban people overcome the current difficulties.”
