Let us offer our solidarity in these hard times for Cuba. We´ve been collecting such medical supplies through August 13 at Dr. Lucio Street, 147, Local D Col. Doctores Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc Mexico City, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
We list materials most urgently needed including 100% absorbent cotton, 80% whiteness grade cotton fibers, 7.5-, 7- and 8-size latex surgical gloves, and medium-size latex for sterile examination. 10ml plastic syringes with a 20G X 1 needle, 20ml syringes with a 20G X 1” needle and 5ml syringes with a 20G X 1.5 needle, Omeprazole 40gr vial, Ampicillin bulb, Dextrose 5% vial 500ml, Paracetamol 500mg tablets, Diphenhydramine tablets, Cefepime 1g bulb, gauzes, Infusion set with 20GX 1.5” plastic needle with air intake and Blood transfusion set with 18G X 1.5” plastic needle without air intake.
Both organizations have been raising slogans #CubaNoEstaSola, #FuerzaMatanzas and #BloqueoNoSolidaridadSi.
The Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, on the other hand, opened an account at the BBVA Bancomer Bank to collect aid funds in face of the Matanzas tragedy.
In its appeal, the Mexican Movement calls for joining the “Cuba is not alone” campaign and explains that in face of the Matanzas incident, it´s pressing to increase solidarity with Cuba and asks Mexican friends to contribute to the bank account and send vouchers to send them their solidarity bonus.
