Cuba denounces instigation of vandalism from abroad

Cuba-hechos-vandálicos
Havana, Aug 13 (Prensa Latina) An investigation presented on national television denounced the instigation of vandalism in Cuba by terrorists based abroad.

The denunciation pointed out that while the country was trying to extinguish a fierce fire at the Supertanker Base, in western Matanzas province, unscrupulous elements were calling for disorder and violence in Cuba.

According to the report, they appealed to the hackneyed formula of calling for vandalism from hate platforms and when these were committed, despite their little real impact, they had a high media repercussion and social impact.

The report presented as an example the fire with a Molotov cocktail at a store in Diez de Octubre municipality in Havana, which was confronted by the people and those responsible were arrested in less than an hour by authorities.

The TV report affirmed that there is information and evidence that connect people based in Cuba with terrorists from abroad, who finance and coordinate violent actions.

The investigation highlighted the people’s support for the defense of the homeland and one of the Revolution’s main conquests, which is citizen security.
