The head of government, who arrived the day before in Nassau, was received by the Bahamian Minister of Health, Michael Darville, to whom he thanked for the warm welcome and ratified the will to expand cooperation ties.

He had a subsequent meeting with members of the Cuban State Mission and a representation of the cooperants working in the Bahamas, in which he was able to learn about the work of the Henry Reeve Brigade that has been cooperating with this country for seven months in the fight against Covid-19.

The Cuban delegation is also made up by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodríguez, the Ambassador to the Bahamas, Julio César González, and other officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Science, Technology and Environment.
