For her part, the president of Aciah, Sabina Frederic, stressed that the creation of the agency allows the institutionalization and hierarchy of strategic instruments in favor of the fight against inequality and for solidarity among peoples.
We are talking about thousands of volunteers, technicians and scientists, coordinated by state teams formed and committed to cooperation, but also about a strategic organization for the care and promotion of national interests, she pointed out.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Aciah unifies the directorates of International Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance “with the aim of harmonizing the work of this type at the local, regional and international level.”
The Aciah will represent this country and its specific interests in the world forums of its competence. In addition, it will continue the work carried out for almost 30 years by the Argentine Cooperation Fund and the White Helmets Commission, indicates a statement from the Ministry.
