Cuban province sets to popular referendum on new Family Code

Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 17 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's largest province, Camagüey, is currently preparing -as of today and coming September 25- as many as 1,705 polling stations for popular referendum on new Family Code.

The Provincial Electoral Council, headed by Mariano Basulto, assured that transit access points will be also enabled for that day.

According to Basulto’s statements to the Radio Cadena Agramonte’s official website, “voters will be able to cast their vote in the premises set up in the northern keys, at the Nuevitas hospital, six provincial hospitals, bus and railroad terminals as well as at the Ignacio Agramonte International Airport”.

Issues related to respect, order, humanism and in correspondence to Cuba’s social dynamics, takes into account the new Family Code bill, an issue already discussed in every corner of the country.
