Our deep gratitude to the brotherly Bolivian people and its president @LuchoXBolivia, the top representative of Cuban diplomacy wrote on his Twitter.
The 62-ton shipment of solidarity aid, worth more than one million dollars, will go to the victims of the large-scale fire at the Supertanker Base in western Matanzas province, which affected neighboring communities.
On Sunday, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel thanked his Bolivian counterpart, Luis “Lucho” Arce, for his solidarity after the fire in the Matanzas industrial zone.
“Love is repaid with love,” the president posted on his Twitter account.
For his part, Arce expressed in that social network that Cuba taught the true meaning of solidarity.
Today, that principle of reciprocity and complementariness between brotherly peoples makes it possible to send 62 tons of food to the victims of the fire in the port of Matanzas, he added.
