During the event presentation, the Palmares S.A. Director-General Jorge Luis Acosta heaped praise on the significance of meeting costumers´ growing demands in an increasingly competitive setting, as well as positioning Cuba as culinary destination, aimed at gourmet food management.
The official program aims to promote eco-gastronomy and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among entrepreneurs and professionals, as well as to revolutionize the cuisine concept through healthy and sustainable food, according to the organizers.
Acosta gave a talk on traditional Cuban food and the real possibilities Cuba has to provide a specialized service that reflects the Cuban roots, compared to the up-to-date gastronomic trends globally.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the state-run and private sectors, who showed their services with the goal of enriching the Cuban tourist product and potential brands.
