The leader added that the measures taken by the governments of the EAEU members allow to start the recovery of the main economic indicators of his nation and the region.
For his part, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian stated that Armenia’s economy “shows a significant increase in the volume of trade with the EAEU countries” during the first seven months of 2022.
He also argued that during this time, the productive exchange with the countries of the Eurasian bloc grew by 52,5% compared to the same period of 2021 and amounted to $1,7 billion.
Pashinian added that exports increased by 48,9%, while imports 54,2 percentage figures.
In this sense, Abdula Arípov, premier of Uzbekistan, an observer country of the organization, highlighted that its trade links with the rest of the EAEU nations amounted to 9 billion dollars.
Friday’s meeting in Kyrgyzstan was aimed at discussing integration issues and projects for new agreements.
