“May the comrades of the Personal Security Directorate, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of its founding, receive congratulations for and recognition of their dedication, devotion, and sacrifice with which they do their work,” the Cuban head of Government said on his Twitter account.

Likewise, National People’s Power Assembly President Esteban Lazo conveyed his congratulations on Twitter.

“Recognition of your dedication, devotion, and loyalty to this self-sacrificing troop of combatants of our Homeland,” he added.

The Personal Security Directorate is attached to the Cuban Ministry of the Interior and its mission is fundamental to protect the lives of the country’s leaders.
