Speaking to Prensa Latina in the capital, the tourism official of the embassy in France said that the island will be represented at the 43rd edition of the fair, scheduled for September 20-22, with a large delegation headed by First Deputy Minister of Tourism, Maria del Carmen Orellana.
We will again have an important presence in Top Resa, after the two years of impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with travel agencies and hotel groups represented, she said.
According to Gonzalez, the show will serve as a stage for the launching in France of the promotional campaign Cuba Única, focused on publicizing a destination that stands out in the Caribbean for its diversity of proposals.
In Top Resa we will work to transmit confidence to French tour operators, in a global context still in recovery after the pandemic and surrounded by uncertainty due to various crises, aware that we are a safe, attractive destination and recognized for the hospitality of its people, she said.
The minister considered the fair to be held at the Porte de Versailles venue as an opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of the Island, its rich history and diverse culture, which make it a must-see destination.
The show will attract thousands of professionals, motivated on this occasion to address issues such as inclusive tourism, the protection of biodiversity and the “ecological” of travel, in a scenario of commitment to the fight against climate change.
