On his Twitter account, the head of Cuban diplomacy demanded that President Joe Biden abide by the claims of Cuba at the United Nations regarding the sovereignty and integrity of territories.

Rodriguez tweeted that this demand includes the autonomy of small States, freedom of navigation, and respect for political differences.

He previously thanked more than 80 Colombian congresspeople for demanding the removal of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

The Colombian parliamentarians extended their request to US Vice President Kamala Harris and House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and acknowledged the multiple effects of this unilateral measure conceived by Washington against the Cuban people and Government.
