The meeting will pay special tribute to Venezuelan revolutionary Ali Rodriguez Araque and will be attended by social and political organizations from this country, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), and the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Network.
Movement General Coordinator Yhonny García told Prensa Latina that the event will propose four discussion tables, to be attended by more than 150 national delegates.
He added that the topics will be related to the economic, commercial, and financial blockade and unilateral coercive measures as forms of imperialist aggression; communication, and counterculture as imperial weapons against the independence and sovereignty of the peoples of Venezuela and Cuba.
They will also deal with the role of women and youths in the context of mutual solidarity between the two countries, and the organization of solidarity in Venezuela.
Garcia noted that these four thematic axes have to do a lot with the wars that North American imperialism “has declared to the peoples who decided to be free and to carry out their autonomy and self-determination.”
