The Health Ministry identified in a statement the deceased as Abd al-Rahman Fathi Khazem, 27, Muhammad Mahmoud Brahma, 30, and Ahmad Nazmi Alawneh, 26.
It specified that all the injured, two of them in serious condition, were transferred to nearby hospitals.
Meanwhile, security sources explained to the official Wafa news agency that the Israeli soldiers entered the city of Jenin and the neighboring refugee camp in the early hours of the morning.
According to the news media, the clashes began when the soldiers surrounded the home of Fathi Hazem, Raad’s father, who was killed by Israeli troops last April after an attack he carried out in Tel Aviv.
Considered a stronghold of Palestinian militias, Jenin has been the target of almost daily assaults since the beginning of this year by the neighboring nation’s army and police.
