The explosion occurred on Friday at the Kaaj education center in the Afghan capital.
The official reported that the students arrived at this institution, located in the Police District 13 of this city, to take the Kankor University entrance exam when a suicide bomber armed with explosives detonated himself.
The Ministry of Interior warned that the number of victims is still preliminary and can increase.
The explosion was condemned by the Islamic Emirate (Taliban government) and countries such as Norway, Iran, Afghan political leaders and foreign diplomatic missions.
Spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, Zabiullah Mujahid, condemned the attack on Twitter and called it a great horror.
For his part, former President of the High Council for National Reconciliation, Abdullah Abdullah, said that the culprits of this deflagration are enemies of peace and development in the country.
The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan condemned the attack and extended its condolences to everyone who is in mourning. So far no one has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
