DPRK to strengthen relations with China for Asia benefits

Pyongyang, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) DPRK State Affairs President Kim Jong Un on Saturday reaffirmed his deep interest in strengthening the DPRK-China relations for the benefit of safety and stability in Asia.

In a congratulation message to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the 73rd anniversary of the China foundation, Kim Jong Un praised strong friendship relations between the two nations with common causes, according to the ACNC News Agency.

Jong Un reiterated DPRK party, government and people will invariably support the cause of their Chinese counterparts to shield sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) also expressed his confidence the Chinese people will celebrate the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China as a new milestone in championing their social system, while assuring that the political parties of the two nations are currently writing an outstanding history of friendship and unity based on solidarity in preserving socialism.

I will make active efforts in the future to strengthen and develop the Korea-China traditional friendly relations and also to safeguard peace and stability in Asia and the rest of the world, Jong Un insisted.

He noted that Chinese party, government and people have achieved considerable successes in overcoming all sorts of challenges for 73 years.

Kim Jong Un also expressed his conviction that China will achieve prosperity it aspires to thanks to Xi Jinping and the unity of the Chinese people.
