Lula votes in Sao Paulo and asks for peace for Brazil

Brasilia, Oct 2 (Prensa Latina) Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva voted at the João Firmino state school, in the Asunción neighborhood, in the ABC Paulista industrial region, and asked for peace for Brazil, which is holding general elections.

After exercising his right, the presidential candidate of the Workers’ Party (PT) kissed the voting slip.

Lula went to the polling station accompanied by his vice presidential candidate, former governor Geraldo Alckmin, and former ministers Fernando Haddad and Márcio França.

In a press conference at the venue, he affirmed that he wants to take care of the inhabitants.

The former labor leader is running for the presidency for the sixth time and is the first candidate of a party federation (Brasil da Esperança).

A few hours ago, the former labor leader reiterated that, together with Alckmin, he is in a position to recover Brazil and make the people have the right to be happy again.

He insisted that the people did not deserve the suffering to which they were subjected, without mentioning the government of the ultra-right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro, who is seeking reelection as Liberal Party candidate.
