Angola reviews cooperation with Venezuela

Luanda, Oct 4 (Prensa Latina) A multisectoral team of the Angolan government on Tuesday analyzed bilateral political, economic and social cooperation with Venezuela, the Angolan Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), the meeting took place at the ministry’s headquarters in Luanda, under the leadership of Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Custodio Vieira Lopes.

It addressed collaboration in the areas of oil, diamond industry, education, specialized training and transport, MIREX said in a press release.

Officials from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Transportation and Education participated in the meeting.

In the political-diplomatic arena, Angola and Venezuela signed, in 2018, an agreement on the suppression of visas in diplomatic and service passports, whose implementation should occur in the near future, the source stressed.
