Russian recruitment centers receive more than 70,000 volunteers

Moscow, Oct 30 (Prensa Latina) Since the partial mobilization in Russia started, the recruitment centers have voluntarily received more than 70,000 people, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reported on Tuesday.

According to the official, “registration for volunteers is available on gosuslugi.ru, the public service portal of the Russian Federation, and more than 2,000 applications were sent last weekend.”

According to Chernyshenko, there are two new services on the related public service portal, the first one is “Become a volunteer” for those who are determined to participate in the military operation, and the second one aims to appeal an erroneous selection toward a citizen with mobilization notice.

“Each applicant must complete a questionnaire with personnal data, most of them are automatically uploaded. Each person must also select the military enlistment office to apply on the map,” he added.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree for the partial mobilization of citizens with military experience to secure Russian territory facing the direct conflict with the Ukrainian army.

Since February 24, Moscow has been carrying out a “demilitarization” and “denazification” operation in Ukraine.
