The Ministry of Health announced the death of Alaa Nasser Zaghal, 21, in the hospital after being shot in the head.

According to the official Wafa news agency, one of the wounded is Palestinian television cameraman Loai Samhan, who was hit by a bullet while covering the army assault.

Reports indicate that the soldiers entered the village, where they surrounded a building to arrest a citizen, identified as Salman Omran, which sparked an exchange of gunfire.

Omran later surrendered when an Israeli bulldozer arrived on the scene with the aim of demolishing the structure with him inside.

On Monday, Tel Aviv troops killed two young men and wounded another one outside the Jalazone refugee camp, located near this West Bank town.

Wafa denounced this week that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire since early 2022 exceeds 160.
