Belarusian president warns of possible aggression

Minsk, Oct 10 (Prensa Latina) President Aleksandr Lukashenko affirmed on Monday that the leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and several European countries are assessing options to carry out aggression against Belarus.

Lukashenko also explained that NATO included, among the options, a nuclear strike on the Slavic nation, the Telegram channel Pérvogo Pul, close to the Belarusian leader’s press service, broadcast on Monday.

“The situation around Belarus, as we have already said, remains tense, and the West spreads that the Belarusian army will directly engage in the special military operation in Ukraine,” the president stated.

Lukashenko also said that Minsk was warned through unofficial channels on Sunday about a possible strike on Belarus from the territory of Ukraine.
