The natives will visit the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism, Children and Adolescents, and Agriculture.
Dionisio Gomez, leader of the National Indigenous Articulation for a Dignified Life, made up of several Paraguayan communities, recently explained to the press that the mobilization is due to the fact that last year they presented 27 requests, among them the claim for land of the communities, without any response from the Government so far.
In addition, this year they added a document with 33 requests, which met the same fate.
He said there are many evictions affecting different indigenous communities, therefore they are asking for a meeting with the three branches of the State to find a solution to these issues.
This Monday, indigenous people began to arrive from different parts of the country, who will carry out the great concentration today.
Gómez warned that if there is no progress in their demands, they will remain in the capital for an indefinite period of time.
