A press release from the Ali Rodriguez Araquethe Presidential Commission described as arbitrary and illegal the ruling issued by Delaware District Judge Leonard Stark, in establishing a set of procedures for a “so-called judicial sale” of the shares of the aforementioned company.
The communiqué categorically rejected the ‘reckless decision, vitiated by arbitrariness and veiled of partiality’ by the judge who issued it.
It denounced that the said magistrate is aligned with Crystalle International Corp. (Crystallex) and is part of the international network, which responds to the hegemonic and imperial power of the United States.
With this step, the Government stressed, the multiform war and its pretension of ‘shameless and indiscriminate plundering’ of the assets of the Venezuelan people is deepening.
It remarked that this ‘unlawful decision’ violates international law and constitutes a new escalation of illegal maneuvers, in complicity with the usurpers Juan Guaido and Jose Ignacio Hernandez.
It pointed out that it disregards the right of a sovereign State ‘over its assets and patrimonial interests,’ to the detriment of the interests of countries and international investor sectors.
The communiqué stressed that Venezuela will never give up the legitimate defense of its rights and reserves the pertinent actions before international instances and mechanisms that may assist it, with the firm intention of rescuing and preserving the patrimony of the Republic, whose only owner is the people.
