The update released by the Health Ministry increased the national total of infections to 825, of which 519 in Aleppo, 145 in Deir Ezzor, 63 in Hasakeh, 29 in Raqa, 23 in Latakia and 10 in Damascus City.
Also, the death toll nationwide rose to 43, with the main cause of death, the Ministry explains, continuing to be the delay in going to health centers for medical attention.
Aleppo remains the province with the highest number of deaths with 36, followed by Hasakeh with four, Deir Ezzor with two and one death in Damascus City.
Since 2011, Syria has been facing an imposed war that affected its health system and led to a deterioration in services, degrading the health rates of the population.
