We reiterate our support for the right of this people to freedom, independence, and the establishment of their independent State with Jerusalem as its capital, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It rejected the provocative actions of Israeli settlers under the protection of Tel Aviv forces in the al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic cemeteries in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The provocations, brutal aggressions, and assassinations perpetrated by the occupation authorities against the Palestinian people and the desecration of Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem constitute a crime condemned by international humanitarian law, the text noted.
