Mikheev stated that the samples of Russian infantry weapons presented by Rosoboronoexport are very popular among security agencies in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, and the rifle that will be presented for the first time will not be the exception.

Russian small arms have proven their worth in professional service with special units, counterterrorist groups and the Police, he said.

“In addition, we will present a wide range of security equipment, weapons for the police and security services and will exhibit a number of novelties, along with the new ORSIS sniper rifle chambered for 12.7x99mm (.50 BMG),” Mikheev added.

The Rosoboronoexport corporation detailed that the rifle is designed to carry out sniper missions and deal with lightly armored vehicles, and has an effective range of up two thousand meters.

The company will also exhibit its KIB-10 personal protective equipment and Sparta-10 ultralight tactical shield for the first time.

It will exhibit its IT-ONV-01 night vision goggles, which allow the operator to drive combat vehicles at speeds of up to 90 km/h with the lights off, maintain visual observation, orient themselves on the ground and make it easier to work with small arms and grenade launchers.

Furthermore, Rosoboronoexport will exhibit the Kalashnikov AK-12 and AK-15 assault rifles, the SR-1M Gyurza handgun, the PP-2000 and SR-2M Veresk submachine guns, the SR-3M Vikhr compact assault rifle and the ADS, capable of shooting underwater.

The company will also introduce the VSSM enhanced special sniper rifle, the GM-94 grenade launcher and the SHAK-12 assault rifle to the public.

The 26th International Homeland Security (Interpolitex 2022) is being held from October 18th to 20th at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow.
