Our meeting with President Bashar Al-Assad marks an important and glorious day of a long-awaited step that we have been waiting for a long time, al-Haya said.
He noted the movement’s support for Syria and its unity and stability and rejected any foreign aggression, be it from Israel, the United States, or any other country.
The meeting with the Syrian leader is a natural response to the Zionist occupation project aimed at dismantling the Arab nation, said the leader, adding that al-Assad is firm and unwavering in his support for Palestine and the resistance.
He noted that what caused the tension in relations with Syria were individual mistakes that occurred in the past, and revealed that some countries hostile to Damascus, such as Qatar and Turkey, welcomed this step.
