The director of International Relations at the Maximo Gomez University, Oruam Cadex Marichal, said that this year the contest has as a new element the virtual assembly to facilitate the participation of people who could not be present.
Active members from 24 institutions from countries such as Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, and Cuba are attending the event, which is being held at the Pullman Hotel on Cayo Coco, he added.
The meeting hosts for the first time the face-to-face meeting of the Ibero-American Network of Leadership and Educational Practices (Rilpe), coordinated by the University of Ciego de Avila together with the University of Granada and Fundacion Investiga Chiloe, the expert noted.
