According to the synopsis, the film deals with the creative processes of the Spanish National Dance Company, under the artistic direction of dancer Joaquin de Luz, is a journey through different moments of practice of that artistic discipline through the work of the company’s choreographers and dancers.

Alcala, a film director and screenwriter graduated from the European Inter-University in Italy and Germany, gained experience through independent projects in Berlin, feature films in France, as well as short films and documentaries in Spain.

His work has been presented at different film festivals, including those in Boston, New York and Tokyo, among others.

After seven years working at Circo del Sol, Alcala settled in Madrid, where he has been director of different artistic projects, focusing on visual arts and circus narrative.
