Following the deployment of Moscow’s special military operation in the Donbas territories, the European Union and the West issued several packages of measures against Russia, but their boomerang effect, warned by the Kremlin, is currently affecting those who sanctioned as well.
In this context, Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s administration is opposed to any action blocking the purchase of hydrocarbons from Russia, on which it is dependent.
