Putin urges work for economic stability in Eurasia

Baku, Oct 27 (Prensa Latina) The Russian government encouraged close cooperation, stability and continental prosperity among Eurasian countries, President Vladimir Putin said.

“We will work for peace and prosperity, we must take advantage of the potentialities of the countries of the continent and create continental room of well-being for all,” the Russian head of State said in a message to the 15th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Baku, Azerbaiyan.

According to a Kremlin press release, Putin stressed the authority of the Forum as an international platform for serious and meaningful discussion on the development of cooperation in Eurasia.

“In its history, the Forum has gained prestige. Eminent politicians, business leaders, scientists, experts, diplomats, journalists from various countries participate,” the president stressed.

For Putin, the opportunity to discuss the state of the economy in the current conditions is necessary, as “the world is going through revolutionary transformations and, at the same time, there is the birth of a multipolar world order,” he added.

According to the Russian leader, the need to strengthen new centers of economic growth, as well as interaction groups and their potential is growing every year.

The 15th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum will be held until October 28, the participants will discuss energy, efficient technology development, diplomacy, industrial cooperation, food security and other challenges of the world economy.
