The messages sought to associate Lula to an eventual end of the Individual Micro-Entrepreneur (MEI) regime in case he is elected this Sunday.
By De Moraes’ decision, the exclusion of the content depends on Bolsonaro’s followers and digital platforms.
Lula himself denied the fake news.
‘They are on social media saying that I want to end the MEI. I mean, I honestly can’t conceive how someone disputes an election by blatantly lying the entire campaign,’ he said the day before.
In view of the fact, the magistrate established a fine of 100 thousand reais (about 20 thousand dollars) and that no new publications be made, under penalty of fine.
