This support can be seen at all levels; it is unconditional and permanent, the diplomat told Prensa Latina and recalled that at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Laotian Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith reiterated the unrestricted support of his country for the Cuban cause.

Referring to the current state of relations between both countries, Viant said that they are going through a very important moment of strengthening and expansion.

The ties of brotherhood between Laos and Cuba are at an excellent level, as evidenced by the exchanges of delegations and virtual meetings (during the Covid-19 pandemic) that have taken place in the past four years, he said.
