Trade exchange between Egypt and Arab countries up in 2022

Cairo, Nov 2 (Prensa Latina) Trade exchange between Egypt and Arab nations ramped up by 19.2% during the first half of 2022 in order to hit .4 billion, according to an official source.

The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said in a statement that Egypt’s exports to the region rose to 8.6%, reachinh up to $5,9 billion.

Imports, meanwhile, totaled $8.5 billion in the first half of 2022, $1.9 billion more compared to the same period in 2021.

According to CAPMAS, Saudi Arabia topped the list of Arab nations in purchases and sales.
