U.S. urges Ukraine to open talks with Russia

Rusia-Ucrania-conversaciones
Washington, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) Washington's attempts to urge Ukraine to seek a negotiated solution to its conflict with Russia revealed President Joe Biden´s administration is presently feeling some pressure of those calling for diplomacy.

An analysis by the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft also found the deep concerns about the possibility of a protracted conflagration have recently increased, along with the resulting fears of higher inflation in the United States due to the U.S. sanctions imposed on Russia.

After claiming for months that it (the U.S.) would not encourage Ukraine to negotiate with Russia, the Joe Biden administration started off by urging Ukraine to open talks with Russia, The Washington Post recently reported.

The decision came just two weeks following Democrats dashed against congressional progressives for signing a letter calling for greater U.S. diplomatic engagement.

Even though the signatories were forced to back down on it, this weekend´s news suggested that Joe Biden may be more sympathetic to progressives’ message than other influential members of the Blue Party.

In addition to the congressmen who urged the Congress to find out a negotiated solution to the Ukraine conflict, a great number of U.S. peace-seeking movements are currently making nonstop calls for a peaceful solution.
